Into the jungle went little Tom
Alone, unarmed and excited
Tom moved on nimble feet
With a tune of a favourite song on his lips
When suddenly there appeared a ferocious lion
Tom got frightened and climbed up a tree
But the tree moved forward
Tom found that he had climbed up a giraffe!
He jumped down in fright as the giraffe frowned

Further into the dense forest went Tom
Now in his steps there was a bit of caution
When suddenly a buffalo charged at him
Alarmed, helter shelter ran Tom
And finding no where else to go
Into a deep lake he jumped
Only to find himself face to face with a croc
He hurriedly made a retreat

Startled, climbed on to a boulder did Tom
But the big boulder moved!
Nonplussed he was but then realized
That he was atop an unhappy looking hippo!
Tom’s adventure, the big fellow did not like
And fiercely shook his body
To shake off his unwanted load
Tom went tumbling down into the water

Now in a grave soup was Tom
Energetically he swam towards shore
And sighed as he reached dry land
Tom continued with his excursion
But was stopped in his track
A big elephant stood in his way
Frightened, Tom went flying in the opposite direction
And dived into a big hole
Only to find himself in company of
Unfriendly and smelly skunk family
The stench was unbearable for Tom
He made a retreat sooo fast!

Further down the jungle track went Tom
He was a bit tired from all the adventure.
To take rest he climbed up a big tree
Having many branches full of fruits
As he thought of taking a nap in a green corner
He screamed as he stared at big eyes
Of a furious looking baboon!
Probably he thought Tom was stealing fruits
As the baboon moved ferociously towards Tom
He jumped for safety and fortunately
Landed on a thick bush to soften his fall
Only to realise that he had fallen from his bed!

From his dream woke up Tom
And that was the end of his jungle lore!
